Capral has acquired EDGE from Aluminium Industries.
In a first for Victoria, Peninsula Link features a new type of noise wall made from polyethylene, a heavy duty plastic that offers environmental and local benefits. The ‘poly walls’ have greater flexibility in design which means they can display patterns on both sides of the walls, offering visual relief for adjacent properties. AUS Plastics installed their 5000 ‘poly wall’ panels on the perimeter of the new Frankston Bypass.
Their state-of-the-art product for infrastructure projects is replacing heavy and bulky concrete walls. The ‘poly walls’ are contrasted with transparent acrylic panels of soft sepia tones and shades of grey where other materials would adversely affect views or block out daylight to an unreasonable extent. Aluminium Industries manufactured and supplied Acrylic Aluminium Frames for this prestigious and innovative project.
This was made possible by a great team effort and contributions from every department at Ai. Without the determination and attention to detail exercised a project of this scale could have been out of control. Instead, team Ai worked greatly together. Needless to say we have received excellent feedback from the client.
Capral has acquired EDGE from Aluminium Industries. We are excited to watch EDGE continue to grow under Capral’s stewardship.
The acquisition takes effect during June and Capral will progressively integrate the EDGE range across its supply network.
