Capral is very pleased to announce that it has acquired EDGE® Architectural Glazing Systems from Victorian based aluminium supplier Aluminium Industries of Australia.

This will see Capral supply selected suites from the EDGE Architectural Glazing Systems range throughout Victoria and eventually to other parts of Australia in servicing the needs of those who have grown to specify the brand.

“The EDGE brand is highly regarded, by architects and building designers; Aluminium Industries should be commended for their development of such an innovative platform of glazing systems, which services predominately commercial projects,” Michael O’Keefe from Capral comments.

“The EDGE U-MAX® thermally broken system delivers excellent thermal performance ratings, particularly when coupled with high performance glass options now available on the Australian market. For specifiers in Victoria, access to a range of glazing systems which can deliver good thermal performance outcomes is critical for code compliance and Capral is pleased to be able to continue to offer this range to the market at a time when high performance systems are in greater demand than ever,” Michael adds.

As part of the acquisition, Capral will take ownership of a complete EDGE product range including associated equipment, and resources. Capral is well placed to continue to offer a range of EDGE suites via its existing distribution network servicing window and door manufactures throughout Victoria and beyond.

The acquisition takes effect during June and Capral will progressively integrate the EDGE range across its supply network.
