GEN® 100mm Base Front Capped Single Glazed

The GEN 100mm Base Front Capped Single Glazed suite is an ideal choice for shopfront, ribbon windows, and large fixed panels.

 

The GEN 100mm Base Front Capped suite offers a 50mm sight line. Generally single span, the suite is limited to 6.5m high applications. With structural glazed mullions and transoms available, the system may be used for two-sided structural glazing.

  • Structural infil cap vertically or horizontally
  • Adapts to 50mm face dimension box sections
  • External glazed only
  • Hinged, pivot, and sliding doors

APPLICATION

  • Shopfront, ribbon windows, large fixed panels
  • Generally single span, limited to 6.5 metre high applications
  • Overhead glazing (refer glazing adaptors)

 

NOTE:

  • Whilst principally used as a fixed glazing system, it is ideally suited to glazing large panels as the front cap allows full access to the glazing rebate
  • Compatible with U-MAX thermally broken framing systems

LIMITATIONS

  • External glazed only
  • May be used as 2-sided structural glazed; not recommended for 4-sided structural glazed without structural engineer validation
